Job Title: Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Shipment Coordination: Coordinate and manage the end-to-end shipment process, including booking of cargo spaces, arranging transportation, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and other required documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers to provide updates on shipment status, resolve issues, and answer queries in a timely and professional manner.

Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues, such as shipment delays, transportation disruptions, customs clearance issues, and other challenges that may arise during the shipment process.

Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze operational reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide insights to management for decision making.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by proactively addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Compliance with Regulations: Stay updated on local and international regulations to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, transportation modes, and logistics processes.

Experience in coordinating air and ocean shipments, including documentation and customs clearance.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in second languages will be a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
